What is Peer-Review ?

Peer review is the independent assessment of submitted manuscripts convened by experts. Through this, the manuscript’s quality and suitability for publication is assessed. It also acts as a quality control mechanism in which constructive feedback is provided to improve the manuscript before publication.

In nutshell, it is a collaborative process wherein authors engage anonymously in dialogue with peers in their field and receive constructive support to advance their work.
